Yesterday members of the Garden Club began work in town. Jill Perry, Sandy Stuart and Lori Sullivan planted the two banks and the library. Several garden club members will help planting today at the Vetern's Park at the West end of town.
Members of the club plant and take care of the flowers and shrubs at the Library, Veterans’ Memorial Park, Northwest Savings Bank, Citizens and Northern Bank and the containers in the Downtown area. They do seasonal decorations inside the library. The garden Club takes care of the atrium at the Guy & Mary Felt Manor and the Assisted Living planters.
