Cameron County Conservation District

This past Friday, the Cameron County Conservation District hosted the Wild About Nature Field Day trip at Lake Clear Creek.
The trip, which is held for all 4th - 6th grade students at Woodland Elementary School, is a trip centered around getting outdoors. The students spent the day learning about: Pioneer loggers with Jennifer Haines of the PA Lumber Museum, Muskox with Taylor Gillette of the Cameron County Outdoor Youth Activities, Bears with PSU Extension Natalie Aiello, Monarch Butterflies with Kim Lott of Sinnemahoning State Park, and Wetlands & White Tail Deer with Jim Zoschg and Jon-Marc Burdick of the Conservation District.
A special THANK YOU goes out to Jim Brown, for the use of Lake Clear Creek for the day!
