Fall means changing leaves, cool, crisp autumn air and the 31st Annual Autumn Festival at Sizerville State Park. This special event will be held on October 1, 2022 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. This historic festival celebrates the pioneers of Northern Pennsylvania through crafts, skills, and foods. Local artisans will demonstrate their skills while displaying some of their works for sale.
There will be three live performances on the folk lore and coal mining songs of the early Pennsylvania coal miners performed by award winning artist Jay Smar. Fresh apple cider will be made on site and pumpkins will be available for children to paint, along with many other foods and crafts
We are still in need of volunteers to assist staff with activities and crafts for children. If you are interested in volunteering or donating items, please contact the park office at 814-486-5605 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, or by email Sizervillesp@pa.gov
Please come join us and get a feel for what Autumn was like for the pioneers who settled this area.
It is a wonderful event for everyone to attend!
