Cameron County SPCA Reaches Capacity

The little kitten we took in almost 2 years ago

Cameron County SPCA

 **ATTENTION **Cameron County Residents**

At this time, we are full and cannot take in any cats or kittens.

When we take in new cats or kittens, they must be quarantined for at least 7 days, this ensures we don’t spread any sickness to our existing cats or kittens.

What can you do if you find a cat or kitten?
First ask your neighbors if they recognize the cat or kitten, if not then Message this page with a clear picture of the cat or kitten with where it was found, and we will post it on our page and try to help find its owner or a new home if an owner isn’t found.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, we are a small facility that can only take in so many cats/kittens at a time, kitten season hit us and many other shelters very hard this year!

Please be understanding we are trying our best to help everyone who contacts us.

If you want to know how you can help, we are always looking for volunteers to help us come up and take care of the cats and kittens, by socializing them, cleaning, feeding, ect

Thank you for understanding, Cameron County SPCA
