Owls of Pennsylvania Online Program Offered by Sinnemahoning
Sinnemahoning State Park’s naturalist, Susan Schenck, will present, “Owls of Pennsylvania,” a virtual online program, on Thursday, November 18, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
Join Susan online to learn about the owl species of PA, from the tiny screech owl calling year-round to the large snowy owl that makes only rare visits to our state. PowerPoint presentation will include tips on identifying the owls in our area, a sampling of owl calls and how to distinguish each, plus a practice quiz and question-answer session.
Program will be conducted over the internet and will not be held in the park. All ages are welcome to participate.
Pre-registration is required in order to provide the meeting link to all interested participants.
To register, please visit online DCNR Calendar of Events at https://events.dcnr.pa.gov/sinnemahoning_state_park/calendar or call the Sinnemahoning State Park office at 814-647-8401.
