IU9 Special Education Immediate Openings McKean County Birth to 3 Service Coordinator: Full-time McKean County Birth to 3 Early Intervention Service Coordinator. Service Coordinator
shall assist infants/toddlers and their families/caregivers to gain access to services and supports appropriate to their needs. SC shall meet with families in their homes or community locations, conduct family interviews, coordinate evaluation/IFSP meetings, monitor progress and maintain infants’/toddlers’ files. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree which includes 12 credits in early intervention, early childhood special education, early childhood education, child development, special education, family counseling, family studies, social welfare, psychology or other comparable social sciences and 1 year of full-time or full-time equivalent experience working with or providing counseling to children, families or individuals with disabilities. Qualified applicants may also have an associate’s degree or 60 credit hours in any of the above mentioned fields of study and 3 years of full-time or full-time equivalent experience working with or providing counseling to children, families or individuals with disabilities. Part-time Early Intervention Teacher - The Seneca Highlands Early Intervention program is seeking a part-time Early Intervention Teacher. This position requires an Early Childhood or Special Education teaching certification. It is a minimum of 21 hours per week teaching in an Early Intervention classroom in Port Allegany. Special Education Supervisor: Permanent full-time position for McKean and Potter County. Special Education Supervisory Certificate required.

School Psychologist: Opening for full-time or part-time staff. Requires: School Psychologist certification.

Social Worker/Counselor: Full or Part-time School Social Worker/Counselor position to provide counseling and supportive Special Education services to individual and groups of students in Coudersport. EOE Requires: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.

Registered/Licensed Occupational Therapist: Full or part-time position to provide direct service, evaluation, and supervision in Cameron, Elk, and/or McKean County. Requires: OTR/L certification.

Paraeducator: Full-time position in Special Education at Cameron County School District (high school)

Job Coach: Full-time or Part-time position. Assist students in learning on-the-job skills at job sites in Potter and/or Cameron Counties. Hours available during and beyond a typical school day. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree with related experience. EOE

Personal Care Aides. Full-time positions in the Austin School District, Intensive Outpatient Program in St Marys, Coudersport Elementary School, and Coudersport Intensive Outpatient Program to work with students exhibiting behavioral/emotional needs. Requirements: Teaching certification or Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.

Classroom Aides: Part-time positions available in Early Intervention and School Age throughout McKean, Elk, Potter, and Cameron Counties. Requires: High School Diploma. EOE

Substitute Classroom Teachers, Classroom Aides, and Transportation Aides. Immediate openings for day-to-day positions supporting students and classrooms in Potter, Cameron, McKean, and Elk Counties. Training provided. Requires teaching certificate or bachelor degree (substitute teacher)/high school diploma (aide).
