Franklin L. Schuckers, 75, of 128 Carson St., Emporium, PA died at Penn Highlands DuBois, DuBois, PA on Saturday afternoon (October 30, 2021). He was born August 8, 1946 in DuBois, PA a son of the late Kenneth Dale and Mary Katherine Cramer Schuckers. He married the late Diane Cassels Schuckers. They were married over fourteen years.
Franklin graduated from Cameron County High School and served with the US Army during Vietnam Era. He retired, in 2007, from Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, the K of C and the Christabelle Club, American Legion, VFW, and served on the Cameron County Memorial Detail for many years. He enjoyed his beloved dog “Muie”.
He is survived by a son, Earl Schuckers, Emporium; daughter, Shannon (Brent) Schuckers-Milkovich, Weedville; step-son, Adam (Rebecca) Kopp, Pasadena MD; step-daughter, Robynne (Michael) Jordan, Wilcox; six grandchildren: Julia, Jordan, Kayleen, Carissa, Becca and Derek; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth E. (Marian) Schuckers and Lanny J. (Roxanne) Schuckers both of Emporium.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by sister, Helen Darlene Weekly.
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 East 4th Street, Emporium, PA on Thursday morning (November 4, 2021) from 9-10:45 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant. A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.
Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PA
