Cameron County School District
School Messenger, Cameron County School District's broadcast messaging application, will be supporting a texting option going forward.
All School Messenger cellular service recipients will be receiving a text message from the short code number, 67587.
To receive broadcasts via texting going forward (to opt-in), reply to the text message with a "Y" or "YES".
To opt-out, simply ignore the text (note recipients will still receive voice calls if you opt-out of the texting option).
A voice broadcast will be made Wednesday, September 29, 2021, 6:00PM announcing the texting option.
The School Messenger text message from short code 67587 will be sent Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 6:00PM.
