Join Cameron County's Century Old Society
As we continue with Cameron County Historical Societies 100th celebration this year, one common theme seems to come to light. Surprise as to what many folks didn't know about our past in addition to stirring up a lot old memories.
This year has afforded us the opportunity to share what we maintain at the Little Museum in Sterling Run and at our History Center on Greenwood Street in Emporium by our window displays and events.
Which brings up the number one question we are asked.
How do I become a member? Well that is easy. All you have to do is send us a check along with your name, address, and phone number for $12 for an individual membership or $20 for a family and you're a member for one year.
We also accept lifetime memberships for $100 per individual.
All checks for memberships are to be made out to "Cameron County Historical Society" and send to P O Box 433, Emporium, PA 15834.
Being a member means you will be a part of one of our counties oldest Societies in "our mission is to preserve our past for current and future generations."
As Cameron County's history continues to grow so does our warehouse of her knowledge being a part of that is just plain fun.
We have been extremely honored to continually serve you the past 100 years and look forward hearing from you soon.
Don't you think it's time you join this century old society?
