Jack Newhouse

Jack Newhouse, 76 of Driftwood, PA and Venice, Florida passed away at his beloved mountain home on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 after a courageous battle with lung disease. He was the loving husband to his wife, Shannon, and together they celebrated 58 years of marriage in May.

Jack was an avid Dale Earnhardt and Eagles fan. He also loved reading and watching westerns. In his spare time he loved working with his hands on large and small projects both inside and outside of the home. If you were lucky enough to call Jack your friend, he was your friend for life and would do anything for you. You would also know his gift for telling various stories of his youth and outdoor activities.

In his retirement, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, and spending time with his family and friends at his camp in Cameron County, PA and his home in Florida. He always loved traveling with his family. His most recent vacation was spent in Arizona floating down the Colorado River and visiting The Grand Canyon and Red Rocks of Sedona.

In addition to his wife, Shannon he is survived by two daughters, Anita Newhouse, Red Hill, PA; Kimberly Newhouse, Englewood, FL; four grandchildren: Erika, Dale, Hunter and Sam. He is also survived by a brother, Dave of Craigsville, WV and two sisters, Rita of Venice, FL and Kathy of Belington, WV.
