Mary Elaine Slawson, 67, of Emporium, PA, died Friday, June 11, 2021 in Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys.
Born August 10, 1953, in Andover, NY, she was the daughter of Keith and Marilyn Coleman Dolph. On April 1, 1988, in Andover, NY, she married Clair E. Slawson, who survives. Mary participated in Special Olympics on the local, state, and national level. She was active in 4-H for many years.
Surviving besides her husband, Clair, are: a son, Paul Haines of Galeton; a daughter, Arlene Haines of Emporium; several step-children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, John (Colleen) Dolph of Hornell, NY and Timothy Dolph of Avon, NY; a sister, Linda Young of Greenwood, NY; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, David B. Dolph and infant Ivan Dolph.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, June 18, 2021 at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA. Rev. Allyn Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Genesee Cemetery.
