Guess What It Is Contest - Window Displays - and So Much More

Guess What It Is Contest - Window Displays - and So Much More

Included in the many ongoing celebrations of the 100th Anniversary of the formation of the Cameron County Historical Society, and the Little Museum's 50th Anniversary.

The Cameron County Chamber of Commerce and Artisan Center in Emporium, has donated a display window for us to highlight different aspects of our community’s history. The windows are being created by Pat Martin and will include old frames, photos, and other memorabilia of our county’s amazing history.

Added to the ongoing display are wooden "little houses" created and hand painted by local artist Bernie Oswald - historical buildings of Cameron County's past. If you see one that you would like to purchase, pre-order forms are available at the Chamber Office.

While checking out the window you can even participate in our "guess what it is contest" and win a $10 in Chamber Bucks from the Historical Society. The window will feature rotating items from the Little Museum which observers can “guess what it is.” Winners will be selected from a drawing box inside the Chamber. Give it a try - anyone can participate!

While you are walking about, stop by the Barbara Moscato Brown Library and check out Pat's amazing historical display - she has been a busy bee showing off our historical past.
