"100 Sites for 100 Years Tour"
Saturday, July 3, the Cameron County Historical Society will have a "Historical Bus tour" of Cameron County. "100 Site for 100 Years Tour" It will start at the old Sylvania parking lot promptly at 10:30 AM and finish at 3:00PM. Permission has been granted from the Caldwell Corp. to park our cars at their location. There we will board an air conditioned bus donated by the local STA School Bus Company to begin the tour.
Historical sites we will be visiting are in Emporium, Cameron, Sterling Run, Huntley, Driftwood and Sinnemahoning. The cost is $15 per person, $25 per couple and includes lunch served a the Senior Center in Driftwood and a souvenir program that participants can use to follow along our historic journey.
Local artist Bernie Oswald will be on board sharing with everyone her "little houses" of many of the sites we will be visiting. Bernie has spent the last year creating and hand painting these keepsakes for those who might want to purchase them. She will be accepting pre-orders for the "little houses" at the Driftwood Senior Center and at the end of the tour.
RSVP is a must since the bus has limited seats.
