Lock Haven University Faculty Plea for Alumni Help
The Lock Haven University faculty urge alumni to help save the university from consolidation or merger as pushed by the PA State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) in Harrisburg. The faculty are alarmed at the impact of the consolidation or merger on the future of education in north central Pennsylvania. The Lock Haven University Association of PA State College and University Faculties (LHU APSCUF) is sponsoring a Virtual Town Hall Meeting for Alumni to discuss the consolidation, how alumni can get involved, future of campus, program closures, future of sports, and how face-to-face classes may be reduced or limited in the proposed consolidation on Tuesday, April 27th, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The free Town Hall can be accessed on Zoom with the meeting ID# 977 1143 0089. For alumni unfamiliar with zoom visit https://zoom.us/join. The event is open to alumni, students, families and friends.
