Rotary News

 


Local election was the topic at the Rotary luncheon meeting, September 29th. Chief Clerk & Election Director, Brenda Munz (middle), Misty Lupro (left), Assistant Chief Clerk & Assistant Election Director, along with Rotarian and Commissioner, Lori Reed, held a question and answer forum on the upcoming election. In May, new voting machines were purchased along with scanners. The ladies assured the group the local election is very safe and secure. All measures have been taken to insure voting poles will be properly sanitized with social distancing. To date 619 people have applied for absentee ballots and 538 have been returned.

  1. It was an honor to be asked to present at Rotary. The numbers are for the 2020 Primary Election. To date, for the November General Election, 630 applications have been received. We expect the ballots from our vendor by Monday and will then start sending them out.
