Rotary News

Josh Zucal, owner of Good Things Growing LLC & Aroma Café was the guest speaker at the Rotary luncheon meeting July 21st. Josh updated the club on his CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) a direct, food-share partnership between you and the grower, providing wholesome food to the community.

A CSA is a way for you to support local farmers or growers by purchasing upfront a share of the upcoming harvest. Good Things Growing customers pay upfront - $300.00 for ½ share feeding 1-2 people or $500.00 for a full share feeding 4-5 people. Each week customers receive a box or bag or fresh grown vegetables. Josh hopes to create a culture of people growing things for the community and building a network of growers and local producers of items such as jams, jellies, canned goods & other homemade goods in future to have a farmer’s market during summer months.
