Joseph M. Blackburn, MD

Joseph M. Blackburn, MD, 90, of 25 Blackburn Rd. (PO Box 28), Emporium, PA died at his residence, Emporium, PA on Friday evening (April 17, 2020). He was born May 24, 1929 in Danville, PA a son of the late Joseph and Ethel Morgan Blackburn. On September 10, 1955 in Schuylkill Haven he married the late Shirley Brown Blackburn.

Dr. Blackburn graduated from Bucknell University and then from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He is survived by two daughters, Leslie Blackburn, Berryville, VA and Sharon Blackburn, Wilton NH; and one son, Joseph Blackburn, Ambler, PA; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Suzanne Blackburn, Emporium.

There will be No Visitation.

 A Meeting for Worship will be held at a later date to be announced by the Barnett Funeral Home 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, PA 

Burial will be in the Sanford Cemetery, Emporium, PA
