Susan C. Beidler, 76, of 447 Fable Road, Hedgesville, West Virginia died at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, West Virginia on Monday evening (February 24, 2020).
She was born April 30, 1943 in St. Marys, PA a daughter of the late Carl E. and Pansy Greenan Smith.
On July 10, 1965 in St. Mark Catholic Church, Emporium, PA she married Arthur Beidler, who survives.
Susan graduated with a bachelor degree from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. She retired from the Central Intelligence Agency after many years of employment. She was a member of the Delectable Mountain Quilting Guild.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Adam C. Beidler (Jane), Reston, VA; daughter, Barbara B. Bohlinger (Patrick), Jenison, MI; three grandsons: Kyle, Kevin and Steven Bohlinger; one granddaughter, Claire Collins; sister, Joann (Jack) D'Ambrosio, Pittsburgh; brother, Steve Smith, Emporium.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step mother,
Theresa "Daisy" Grillo Smith.
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA on
Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PA
