Nancy P. Wagner


Nancy P. Wagner, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on February 7, 2020. She was born on March 26, 1936 in Altoona to Charles and Helen Klepser Patterson. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Harvey G. Wagner.

Nancy graduated from Juniata College and was an elementary teacher in the Cameron County School District for 30 years. She was a talented pianist and church organist, an amazing seamstress and quilter, and a painter. She resided for over 50 years in her beloved home in Rich Valley and spent vacations at Wildwind, her North Carolina home. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Cameron County Quilters.

She is survived by a daughter, Sally Oberdick (Dave), of Pittsburgh, PA and a son Harvey “Skip” Wagner (Beth) of Knoxville, TN. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Dr. Sam Oberdick of Boulder, CO, Elise Cupps (Brett) of Pittsburgh, PA, Abby Oberdick of Chicago, Ill, Lauren Wagner of Columbus, OH, and John Wagner of Knoxville, TN.

There will be no visitation and services will be private. Burial will be in Rich Valley Cemetery.
