The Parents As Teachers Program

The Family Center is actively looking for willing families with any children under kindergarten age, to participate in the Parents as Teacher program! The Parents As Teachers program is, just as it sounds. We come into the home to help parents teach their kids WHILE playing and interacting with them. The ultimate goal is school readiness ideally starting when the child is born until the age they are enrolled in kindergarten, but any age in-between are welcome! Prenatal visits are also offered. This is a totally free program that also provides screenings on children that are done with parents to ensure development and can make referrals to outside sources if necessary.
