Flooding in Cameron County

Cameron County received heavy amounts of rain last evening. These photos in downtown Emporium are a small sampling of what many dealt with throughout the county. Thanks to the quick thinking of the young girls in the photo, Josh Zucal and an unknown gentleman helping him, the storm drains on 4th &  Chestnut were cleared of leaves and debris allowing the rain water to drain away. The fire department was busy pumping out cellars. Reports of water across roadways were noted in some parts of the county.
