The Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library invites area youngsters to join us on Halloween night, October 31, from 5-6 p.m. for a very special Spooky Story Hour. We encourage anyone attending to come in costume as Trick-or-Treating officially begins at 6 p.m.
From 5-5:30 p.m., Miss Yelena will be reading National Bestseller, “Room on the Broom” for younger trick-or-treaters who don’t like scares.
From 5:30-6 p.m., things will get extra spooky as Miss Yelena will turn out the lights and pick out a story from “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.”
Parents are asked to use their own discretion before sending younger children to the second reading.
Additionally, throughout the month of October, Miss Alex, who runs our Story Time and Free to Be Me programs, will be doing fall-themed readings and activities with youngsters age 5 and under.
For questions about the event, or for more information, please contact the library at 814-486-8011 or email us at brocampl@zitomedia.net.
