Memorial Day Weekend Programs at Sinnemahoning State Park
Sinnemahoning State Park is offering a variety of free family-friendly programs to park visitors over the Memorial Day Weekend
Guided Kayak Tours, Saturday, May 25, two tours: 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Paddle the lake with park staff to learn about the wildlife of the George B. Stevenson Reservoir. Limit 18 people. Swimmers only. Boats, paddles, and life vests provided. Pre-registration required.
Campground Program: Terrific Turtles, Saturday, May 25, 8:00 PM- 9:30 PM, Campground Amphitheater. Discover the many species of turtles that live in PA, and how you can help scientists learn more about these likeable reptiles. Interactive campground program followed by 30-minute video.
Pontoon Boat Tours, Sunday, May 26, two tours: 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Join park staff for a relaxing and informative 1-hour tour of the George B. Stevenson Reservoir. Program is free, but donations are requested. Pre-registration required.
History of the First Fork Pontoon Tours, Monday, May 27, two tours: 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Enjoy a 1-hour tour of the lake while learning about the history of the valley, from Native Americans through lumbering and conservation, up to modern day. Pre-registration required.
