"Herp" Hoedown at Sinnemahoning

"Herp" Hoedown at Sinnemahoning

Scaling mountains, slithering through meadows and swimming in wetlands; reptiles and amphibians, also known as "herps", can be found throughout Pennsylvania. On Sunday, April 28, 2019, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, join park staff and local herpetology enthusiasts for a chance to learn more about these unique and often misunderstood animals.

This family-friendly program is FREE and registration is not required. Programs will include live reptile talks, children's activities, a "herp" search and more. All programs will meet in the Wildlife Center classroom. For more information on park programs and events, please contact Sinnemahoning State Park at (814) 647-8401 or SinnemahoningSP@pa.gov
