Deanna V. Armagost Reiter

LOGANTON - Deanna V. Armagost Reiter, 69, wife of John C. Reiter of 425 Allegany Ave., Emporium, passed away on Tuesday (Jan. 29, 2019) at the residence of her daughter, 799 E. 
Winter Road, Loganton.

 Born in DuBois on Sept. 15, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Ella Milliron Armagost. She was a 1967 graduate of DuBois Area High School and a member of the First Baptist Church, DuBois. John and Deanna were wed on Feb. 27, 1976, and shared over 42 years of marriage together. She was formerly employed by the DuBois Hospital in the laundry department, PA Press Metals as a machine operator in Emporium and as a pharmaceutical technician at the Medicine Shoppe, Emporium. Deanna was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #15, Smethport, a former Girl Scout Leader and member of ABATE Motorcycle Club, Emporium.

Along with her husband she is survived by a daughter, Tammy Cella of Loganton; a stepson, William Reiter of Melbourne, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Patricia Reiter Cool of Bonneau, S.C.; a brother, William Armagost, and two sisters, Carol Armagost and Nancy Jo Horak, all of DuBois; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a stillborn son, Michael John Wolfgang.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 9 in the First Baptist Church, 424 N. Broad St., Emporium, with the Rev. James R. Horton Jr. officiating. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be held in the church at 10:30 a.m. Final interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Wayne P Urbine Funeral Home Inc., 95 E. Main St., Loganton.
