Penn College, in partnership with the Education Council, will be offering a Practical Nursing Program in Coudersport. This full-time clock hour program is scheduled over one calendar year with classes and clinicals held four days per week, plus every other Friday.

This program provides the knowledge base and experience necessary to become a safe practitioner, operating as a member of the healthcare team, caring for patients within the scope of the licensed practical nurse (LPN). Graduates of the program earn a certificate in practical nursing and will be eligible to take the Practical Nursing National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) and will be prepared to seek employment in nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, physician offices, and home care agencies.

Classes begin February 4, 2019, and graduation will be held January 30, 2020. This course is eligible for Pell Grants and Federal Loans. The application deadline is December 15, 2018.
