Robert Spaeth, D/B/A Robert’s Machine Company, spoke at the Rotary luncheon September 18th about his business located in Rich Valley. Robert operates as a sole proprietor and started his business in 1976. Bob machines one of a kind precision individual pieces from blanks on his machines. One of his machines dates back to 1906. He also builds power shoes for presses as well as sophisticated automatic part feed systems to increase productivity. If the customer can design it or lay out the concept, Bob can build it. He makes a conscious effort not to compete in the powder metal secondary arena, but to bring in revenue from customers from many states in the U. S. and Canada. Bob is a huge supporter of local business and keeping your money local.
He also stated that “once he gave his life to Jesus, his business began to do better.”
