Sinnemahoning State Park is offering two interpretive nature programs this weekend, a Saturday evening campground program featuring owls and a Sunday morning children's program about squirrels. Programs details include:
Outstanding Owls - Saturday, July 28, 2018, 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM. Join park intern, Alyson Rotello, to learn about the owl species of Pennsylvania and what makes these powerful, yet stealthy birds such great predators. Campground talk followed by 1-hour video. Popcorn will be provided. All are welcome to attend his free, family-friendly program. Meet at the campground amphitheater.
My Cousin Momo - Sunday, July 29, 2018, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM. Through story, crafts, and simple activities, learn about Momo, the flying squirrel, and how he differs from his cousins. This program, intended for children ages 3-8, highlights the award-winning 2018 PA One Book, "My Cousin Momo". Older and younger siblings welcome to attend. No pre-registration required to attend this free program.
