First Day Hike at Sinnemahoning State Park
On Monday, January 1, 2018, start the new year on the right foot with a First Day Hike at Sinnemahoning State Park.
Have fun outdoors with an easy 2.5-mile guided hike on fairly level trails near the Park Office & Wildlife Center. See a real bear den and a bald eagle nest as you learn about DCNR's trail system and additional hiking and outdoor recreation opportunities throughout the coming year.
Hikers should dress for the weather, bring water and wear waterproof shoes or boots. Well-behaved dogs are welcome if on a leash 6-foot or less. Program will be held regardless of weather. For current road conditions, please call the park office. This free family program will meet at the Wildlife Center at 12:00 noon. The group will return to the Wildlife Center around 2:00 pm. No pre-registration is required.
For more information on park programs and events, please contact Sinnemahoning State Park at (814) 647-8401 or SinnemahoningSP@pa.gov or visit the online DCNR Events Calendar.
