Monday, October 9th— Helpmates will be here, available to do Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, and Oxygen Screenings from 11:30am-12:00pm.

Monday, October 9th— Club Meeting @ 1pm. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Wednesday, October 11th — Flu Shot Clinic @ 1-2pm. Most insurances accepted—Aetna & United Healthcare not accepted.

Thursday, October 12th—Pumpkin Painting after lunch! Whether you are an uprising Picasso or don’t feel like you can even draw a stick figure, pumpkin painting can be done by just about anyone!

Sunday, October 15th—Bingo @ 1pm!

Tuesday, October 17th— Community Nurse Day! FREE Blood Pressure/Blood Sugar Screenings from 11-11:30am and a short program about your thryroid at 11:30am.

Wednesday, October 18th— DCNR Program “Wings of Life” with Emily Embick at 9am! Should be really interesting! Come learn and enjoy!

Friday, October 20th— Painting Class with Anna Cass at the Emporium Senior Center @11am! To sign up, give the center a call!

Saturday, October 21st— Soup & Sandwich Fundraiser @ 11am-2pm!

Tuesday, October 24th— Oral Health Program with Beth Pantuso from Cole Memorial @ 9am!

Tuesday, October 31st— Fun Shenanigans will ensue today. Costume Contest before lunch!

SOUP and SANDWICH FUNDRAISER “The Emporium Senior Center will be selling hot, yummy soups and sandwiches from 11am-2pm on Saturday, October 21st at the center. Eat in or Take out available. Thank you for supporting your local senior center!”

Entrepreneur Basket Raffle “The Emporium Senior Center is celebrating local entrepreneurs by raffling off a basket of goodies from several local businesses, many of whom are not normally in the limelight. We are hopeful that the basket will help to get the word out about many of the awesome products and services that are flowing from the time and creativity of this awesome town. Chances are 3/$5 and can be purchased through Tues, October 31st at the Senior Center.

PAINTING CLASS A painting class, taught by Anna Cass, will be happening at the Emporium Senior Center on Friday, October 20th, beginning at 11am. Anna will be leading us in painting a picture of a Sunflower and a Pumpkin! Cost for the class and supplies will be $16/person. There will be a break for lunch—we are having Chicken Salad Sandwiches and Vegetable Soup at the center—Call ahead to order.
