Cameron County residents participating in the Sinnemahone Ultra Trail Run Saturday October 21 can capture the Caldwell Cup. The award presented by the Caldwell Corporation in Emporium is given to the top male and female finishers from the county in the 50k, 25k and 10k events.
The hand turned wooden cups created by St Mary’s artist Marvin Riddle and are then engraved by Wennin Creations. “This event prides itself on purchasing local, since the majority of our sponsors come from the Cameron County region” says race director Craig Hudson. The design for this years race shirts and the printing will be done by Art n Ink, finisher medals and trophies provided by Wennin Creations.
Numerous sponsorship levels exist according to Hudson. They range from $50 to $1000.00. The chamber of commerce is the clearing house for race and sponsorship information.
