Weekend in the Wilds, July 3rd and 4th

Weekend in the Wilds is planned for July 3rd and 4th in Cameron County.

 On Friday there is a Pie and Penn State Creamery ice cream social from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church.
 Fireworks in Cameron County will be on Friday night, July 3rd.
 Gates at the football field open at 7 p.m. Fireworks will be held at dusk.

 On Saturday, July 4th, booths open at 9 a.m. on Fourth Street.

 Juried Artist Julie Mader for a paint n sip class during Weekend in the Wilds. Mader will teach a patriotic themed painting on canvas while participants sip on their favorite beverage. The class will be held at the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce & Artisan Center Saturday July 4 noon to 2pm. The 11 x 14 canvas will depict the American Flag. All materials are included in the $35.00 fee. Class is limited to 12. Reservations can be made at the online store www.cameroncountychamber.org or by calling 814-486-4314.

One new event has been added to this weekends activities. A pickle ball contest at the former Fourth Street School. It will be held from 9am -noon at 240 East 4th Street, Emporium, Pa. 15834
