Women In The Wilds Weekend at Sinnemahoning State Park

Registration is now open for the Women In The Wilds Weekend at Sinnemahoning State Park.

Ladies, are you tired of your typical weekend? Do you find yourself sitting in front of the television watching other people have fun? Well, here’s the perfect opportunity to break out of your routine and try something new!

Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21, 2015, Sinnemahoning State Park is offering a weekend filled with opportunities for women to learn new outdoor skills.

Programs will include biking, archery, kayaking, bird-banding, geo-caching, fly-fishing, camp cooking, outdoor survival, and many others. Participants may choose up to eight different sessions over the three days of the event, and all meals are included.

Pre-registration is required by Sunday, June 7th. The program fee of $100.00 per person includes eight classes, all meals, and an event t-shirt. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to register early.

Lodging is not included in the program fee. Participants will need to arrange their own overnight accommodations. Information on the park campground and other local lodging will be provided upon request.

Grab your mom, sister, best friend or co-worker and join other aspiring woods-women for a new adventure in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds! We can’t wait to meet you!
