Howard J. Beer

Howard J. Beer, 74, of East Third St., Emporium, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in Penn Highlands Elk, St. Marys. Born July 16, 1940 in Limestone, NY, his father was also Howard Beer. His first wife, Barbara Heist Beer died in 1987. On December 29, 1990 in Emporium, he married Brucetta Arnold Robison who survives.

A resident of Emporium for 50 years, in 1958 he graduated high school in New York State before relocating to Emporium. Mr. Beer was a self employed electrician who retired in 1993.

 Surviving in addition to his wife Brucetta of 24 years are: twin children, son Scott Beer in Ohio and daughter Sonya Beer also in Ohio; one grandson; two stepchildren, Buffy Robison of Emporium and Robbie Robison of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and three step grandchildren.

In addition to his first wife, he was predeceased by a son, Stanley Beer in 2000, and by two brothers and two sisters.

 Visitations will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium from 11 a.m. until Noon at which time a Memorial Service will follow with the Rev. Joseph Short, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Emporium officiating.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. 

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Cameron County Ambulance Service.
