Sinnemahone Ultra Trail Run Expands
Organizers of the Sinnemahone Ultra Trail Run announce the addition of a third race. The foot race which takes place this year Saturday, October 17 will now offer a 10K event in addition to the 25K and 50K.“We have targeted a course, but need to wait until the snow melts to finalize the elevation map and secure final approval from the Department of Forestry, “explains Cameron County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tina Johns Solak.
The trail will begin and end on the West Creek Rails to Trails in downtown Emporium and feature a steep climb. Sinnemahone Race Director, Craig Hudson reminds participants, “ all the races are open to runners, and hikers. The stipulation is that the course must be completed within the 10 hour mark.”Registration fees remain the same and registration is now open at www.ultrasignup.com until October 1.
