Many people in our region are planning to go to college or have thought about going back to school but are hesitant because of the cost of education. Financial Aid is an option for both traditional and adult students, and during this one-hour presentation, you will learn about the types of financial aid available, important application deadlines, eligibility requirements to receive financial aid, and you will be introduced to the FAFSA and PHEAA application process.
This program is being offered free of charge and is open to anyone interested in learning more about financial aid, regardless of which schools you or your children are considering. This program will be presented by staff from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Financial Aid Office. The presenters have several years experience working with traditional and adult students and have helped thousands of students through the financial aid process.
This workshop is being held on two evenings: Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Potter County Education Council’s Coudersport office and Thursday, April 3, 2014, at their Port Allegany office. The workshop is being held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and registration is required.
