...RAPIDLY DETERIORATING ROAD CONDITIONS WILL ACCOMPANY A BAND OF 
MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW FROM THE ALLEGHENY PLATEAU TO THE CENTRAL 
MOUNTAIN REGION THROUGH MIDNIGHT... 
 
AT 948 PM EST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED THE LEADING 
EDGE OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW EXTENDING FROM 15 MILES NORTHWEST OF 
WARREN TO 8 MILES WEST OF INDIANA TO 54 MILES SOUTH OF FROSTBURG... 
MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH. 
THE SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE NORTHWEST MOUNTAINS...WEST CENTRAL 
MOUNTAINS AND LAUREL HIGHLANDS BETWEEN 10 AND 11 PM...AND THE NORTH 
CENTRAL...CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS BETWEEN 11 PM AND 
MIDNIGHT. 
VISIBILITIES WILL RAPIDLY FALL BELOW ONE MILE AS THE SNOW ARRIVES. 
ROAD CONDITIONS WILL RAPIDLY DETERIORATE...WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE 
LOWER TO MIDDLE 20S PROMOTING EFFICIENT ACCUMULATION. IN ADDITION... 
SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL GUST BETWEEN 15 AND 25 MPH...WITH BLOWING SNOW 
LOCALLY DECREASING VISIBILITY TO BELOW ONE QUARTER MILE. 
USE EXTREME CAUTION IF YOU MUST TRAVEL THROUGH THIS SNOW... 
ESPECIALLY AS IT ARRIVES...SINCE CONDITIONS WILL CHANGE VERY 
RAPIDLY. CONSIDER DELAYING OR POSTPONING TRAVEL IF POSSIBLE.
