Cameron County Christmas Puzzle

Cameron County Chamber of Commerce has joined with merchants to local shopping.  Saturday December 7 the Cameron County Christmas Puzzle will be solved!
The puzzle is based on the idea that a naughty elf took Santa’s sleigh and hid the toys.  Participants are to solve the who dunnit, find the sleigh and single out one of the toys in the sleigh.  The event is free and will be held from 10am-2pm.  One winner will be selected from the correct answers to receive prizes totaling more than $100.00.
A puzzle piece entry form can be picked up at the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce.  It will give the locations of clues that can be easily found in stores or at the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary Craft Show.
“We want to thank the community members who are volunteering to be elves this weekend,” commented executive director Tina Johns Solak.  Those include The Grinch, Gary Solak, Don Reed, Robert Linninger, Bryan Good, Audra Stuart, Glen Feibig, Heidi Aikens, and John Caskey.
“The free event not only allows adults to play, but also children and parents, or grandparents.  Teens are also encouraged to spend Saturday morning solving the puzzle,”  Johns Solak continued.  The message is shop local this Christmas season and this is one way to have fun while shopping!
