Lila M. Clancy

Lila M. Clancy, 93, formerly of Sterling Run, Emporium and Austin, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium.
 
Born May 19, 1919 in Sterling Run she was the daughter of Grant and Fannie Teriberry Hart. In 1936 in Emporium she married Gerald F. Clancy who died March 17, 2006.
 
She attended school in Sterling Run and moved to Austin in 1958. For a few years in the 1960s she was employed by Sylvania Electric in Emporium. Mrs. Clancy was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and quilting.
 
Survivors include: four sons, Edward (Sandy) Clancy of Bradford, William Clancy of Killbuck, NY, Richard (Judith) Clancy of Emporium, and Robert Clancy of Zolfo Springs, FL; three daughters, Barbara Clancy of Bowling Green, FL, and Anna Marie (Alb) Glover and Mary (Dennis) Baker both of Austin,; 21 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great, great grandchildren; and also many nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Clancy was predeceased by one son, one daughter, five brothers, two sisters, and six grandchildren.
 
There will be no visitations. Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
 
Arrangements are under the direction of the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium.
