This morning, a motor vehicle accident on Rt 120 W caused an electrical outage affecting West Creek, Moore Hill, Rich Valley Road, and the Cameron County Elementary school. The accident occurred at approximately 6:35 am when a white pick up truck exited the highway and struck a tree.
Traffic was interrupted while the Emporium Ambulance, Cameron County Fire Department, State Police and emergency personnel assisted at the scene. Electrical service was restored within 2 hours and details of the crash are unknown at this time.
