Delores F. Rodgers


Delores F. Rodgers, 65, of 34 Pioneer Rd., Emporium, PA
died at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys on Sunday (December 2, 2012) morning.

She was born June 22, 1947 in Houtzdale, PA a daughter of the late Llewelyn and Dora Fae Rowles Cardinal
On December 10, 1966 in St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Houtzdale she married Patrick Rodgers, who survives.
Mrs. Rodgers graduated from Moshannon High School, Houtzdale in the class of 1965. She worked as an LPN at the Cameron County Health Center until she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2000. She loved nursing and put her heart into caring for other people. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and the C.D. of A. She was an active participant in daily prays for others at her church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Thursday (December 6, 2012) at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Visitation with video tribute will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM., where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:45 PM.
Burial will take place Friday in the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Houtzdale.
