Marian L. Kuppelweiser, 92, of Holly, Michigan, formerly of Sinnamahoning, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in McLaren Hospital, Flint, Michigan.
Born April 18, 1920 in Sinnamahoning she was the daughter of the late Ray and Lena Wykoff Jordan. On September 30, 1947 in Driftwood, she married Matthew Kuppelweiser who passed away July 10, 1979.
She was a long-time resident of Sinnamahoning until moving to Holly to be with her daughter. She was a graduate of Emporium High Schooland was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as Postmaster in Sinnamahoning until retiring in 1985.
Mrs. Kuppelweiser was a member of the Sinnamahoning UnitedMethodist Church.
Survivors include: one son, M. Richard Kuppelweiser and wife Diane of Monongahela, Pa.; one daughter, Sally Averill and husband Doug of Holly, Michigan; five grandchildren, Eric, Lisa and Annie Averill and Katie and Brian Kuppelweiser; and also nieces and nephews.
Marian was predeceased by one brother, Ray Jordan and one sister, Kathryn Johnson.
A visitation will be held in the Sinnamahoning UnitedMethodist Churchon Saturday, November 24 from 10 until 11 a.m. at which time Funeral and Committal Services will be held with the Rev. Lola Turnbull of the Benezette Charge, officiating. Burial will be in SmithCemetery, Grove Township.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Sinnamahoning UnitedMethodist Church, Sinnamahoning Fire Department or Sinnamahoning Ambulance Service.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium
