Light Up A Life" Celebrates Loved Ones During Holidays
The Cole Foundation announces a new tradition of giving during the holiday season with the “Light Up A Life” event. On Thursday, December 6, the Cole Foundation will light a 60-foot outdoor tree, located on the Cole Memorial Hospital campus.
Each gift of $10 or more will place a symbolic light on the “Light Up A Life” tree. Each light on the tree will be a visual representation of a gift, given in honor or memory of a loved one. All proceeds for the program will be used to support the ongoing healthcare needs of Hospice and Patterson Cancer Care patients at Cole Memorial. Each gift will be acknowledged with a specially designed card sent to the person being honored or to the family of a memorialized loved one.
“We hope you will honor or remember those special people who have touched your life, through a gift to the Cole Foundation during this holiday season,” stated Patrice Levavasseur, executive director of the Cole Foundation. “We look forward to the support of our communities and hope you can join us at 5:30 p.m. on December 6th for our special tree lighting ceremony and reception that will follow the event.”
