Peggy Ann Samick, 79, of 138 Airport Road, St. Marys, died on Monday morning, September 19, 2011 at Pinecrest Manor following a lengthy illness.
She was born September 4, 1932 in Cameron County, a daughter of Dorothy Berry Card of Sterling Run and the late Charles Orville Card.
On January 2, 1961 in Emporium, she married the late Albert M. "Loppo" Samick, Jr., who preceded her in death on October 30, 1999.
Mrs. Samick was Protestant by faith. She and her husband lived in Welaka, Florida for many years and enjoyed the time they had spent there. She enjoyed reading, crafts, knitting and crocheting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Funeral Services for Peggy Ann Samick will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 North Michael Street, St. Marys, on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Chris Kindle, Pastor of 1st UMC, officiating.
The family will greet and receive friends prior to the funeral on Wednesday from 2 pm until the time of the service.
Burial will be in the St. Marys Protestant Cemetery.
