August Events In Emporium

The First Friday event in Emporium will be held on Friday, August 5th. There will be a wine tasting featuring wineries all around the region. Cost is $10.00. For more information, call 486-4314.



The annual Cameron County Fair officially opens August 7th.
The Tractor Parade will be held August 8th beginning at 5 p.m.

A Clothing Swap will be held in O’Connell Hall on August 13, 14, & 15. Clothing may be delivered to O’Connell Hall on August 11 & 12. Take this opportunity to clean out a closet and donate clothing items you no longer want or trade what doesn’t fit you or your children for sizes that are appropriate. This is a great way to find some back to school clothes for the kids.The Sinnemahoning Sportsmen's Club is sponsoring their annual Youth Day on Saturday, August 13th at the sportsmen's club. Registration is at 9 a.m., event begins at 10 a.m.

The 3rd annual Northern Tier Camp Cadet Motorcycle Poker Run will be held on Saturday, August 6th in Emporium. Registration is from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at My Place Bar in Emporium.
