CAMERON COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE GOLF TOURNAMENT

Cameron County Chamber of Commerce yearly golf tournament is set for Thursday June 9 at the Emporoim Country Club. “We have looked at other tournaments held in the region and made a conscious effort to keep the price reasonable”, said Tina Johns Lorson, executive director. The price per person is $35.00 and includes a round of golf, cart, beverage on the course and a dinner following the event.

Skill prizes will be awarded and there is the opportunity to take home major prizes for a hole in one.

Gores Auto Service in Emporium is offering a used vehicle valued at $10,000. Mountain Laurel Federal credit Union is offering an Alaskan cruise for two.

“The tournament is held to raise funds for buy local promotions and provides an excellent networking opportunity”, according to Johns Lorson. Registration is open 10-11:30 at the Emporium Country Club, or by phoning the chamber at 814-486-4314.
