Percy L. House

Percy L. House, 87, of 408 S. Monroe St., Bellefonte, Pennsylvania formerly of Emporium died at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College on Friday, April 22, 2011 night. He was born December 4, 1923 in Buffalo, New York a son of the late Percival and Elizabeth Cooper House. On February 27, 1947 in Johnsonburg he married Anna Launer House, who Survives.


Mr. House served with the US Army in North African & European Theatre during WW II. He retired from Sylvania where he worked for many years. He had served as President of the UE local 639 Union. Percy was a member of the Miller-Raffaele Post 6221, VFW

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium on Tuesday (April 26, 2011) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bruce Burkness, Pastor, St John's Lutheran Church, officiating. A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.

Burial will be in the Rich Valley Cemetery, Emporium, Pennsylvania
