CATALANO DILL ANNOUNCES CANDIDAY FOR CAMERON COUNTY MAG. DIST. JUDGE

Nancy Catalano Dill has announced that she will seek both the Democratic and Republican nominations for Magisterial District Judge in Cameron County.

After acquiring training in court reporting at Alfred State College in 1988, she furthered her education at Penn State DuBois to become a paralegal. In 1989 she established Cameron Reporting and began providing court reporting services to the court systems in the area and to legal counsel throughout Pennsylvania and New York, as well as interim paralegal services to a number of firms in the area. Her experience in the various Court systems in surrounding Counties would include hearings at the Magisterial District Judge level, Courts of Common Pleas of 10 surrounding Counties and contracts for services in Jefferson and Potter Counties, zoning hearings, arbitrations, depositions for Workers’ Compensation and personal injury cases for private counsel, disciplinary hearings, master’s hearings, zoning hearings and school board hearings throughout the region.

She most recently was employed at the McKean County Courthouse for the Forty-Eighth Judicial District as an Administrative Assistant and court reporter and gained extensive knowledge to the various procedures and databases involved with the Court of Common Pleas. In the many years spent in the courtrooms across the state, was born her desire to further her interests in the law and to serve the community in which she lives with a fair, impartial and unbiased approach to the position of Magisterial District Judge here in her home County of Cameron.
Nancy is a life-long resident of Cameron County and is the daughter of Romie and Rita Hornung Catalano.
