Cameron County Commissioner Forum Planned for May 11

Cameron County Commissioner race includes four republicans and four democrats vying for just three seats. On Wednesday May 11 at 6 pm local radio station WLEM/WQKY will host a live forum. The event is sponsored by two Cameron County businesses; Good Real Estate and Caldwell Corporation. The live program at the Cameron County courthouse will consist of two segments.


All of the candidates have been invited to the forum. The format calls for the Democratic candidates: incumbent Phil Jones, Jim Thomas, James Slusarick and Thomas Callahan to answer 5 questions each starting at 6pm. The Republican candidates: incumbent Glen Fiebig, Bonnie Smith, Robert Lininger and James Narby will take to the airways at 7pm.
