  1. Uncle Ty was one of my favorite uncles. I admired him for his humor and grace. The family reunions were always a fun time because of his presence there. I wish I had taken time out from my busy lifestyle to visit him and his family more often, but, alas, that wasn't to be. He will be missed by all of the Arndt families and friends. Thank you, Ty, for being there to add spice to this Earth of ours.
    Sincerely,
    Your nephew, George

  2. Uncle Ty was only one of two uncles I got to meet after I located my brother George in 1982. I remember him as having a great sense of humor and a wonderful smile. His eyes kind of twinkled. He also knew a lot about the family tree and had done extensive research into our roots. At every reunion, I think, George and Ty shared notes about genealogy and what new things they had discovered. Ty was truly a driving force that kept the Sam and Emma Arndt Reunion going for a very long time. Rest in peace, Uncle Ty.
    Your niece, Barbara
